I Sent an Email to that Place We Aren't Supposed to Mention

That site has shut down, but unfortunately for them, they have sent me several emails in the past two months or so. The last two said they were processing payments. That's a promise. In writing, no less. So, I just emailed them to ask whether or not they are honoring those written promises. If you want to email them, check the address on the Moe email you received recently. I am hoping that the email is not returned. But so far, it hasn't come back as undeliverable. Wouldn't it be fun if a whole bunch of us sent them an email all at once? Hey maybe some hapless soul will have to read them all and if nothing else, will feel like a liar and a loser and a thief and a crook. I don't know if I am allowed to give you the email, so I hope you have it.

No, but we could inundate them with emails, and make them less comfortable and make them realize they didn't make a clean and painless escape.

@Rollo1 I'm not sure it will have any effect. They may have abandoned the mailboxes just like the site.

I wonder if something like that counts as a legal document that you have standing on, granted the cost to force the issue would be high, but I had this mental image this morning of all the users banding together for one great lawsuit! lol

I very much doubt that they will ever pay out, law suit or not. They have never been good at any form of payments and public relations.

@Jessicfalynnt - there are many law suits against them already from a year ago I would bet.

I doubt there will be a response, but I wouldn't mind breaking their email with a thousand inquiries.

I guess there is no way to get any of our own info from there is there? I had some items saved as drafts I would really like to have, It is my fault for only saving them there

You are politer than me. I wrote and told them that Karma will bite them on the bum for what they did.

I think they all need to get over the idea that they are going to make a million dollars on the internet, and go find real jobs.

I don't see why you should not give it to us but I doubt if it would help. maybe we could overload their sweeble website and post lots of warnings about them on their twitter and facebook pages , that i assume they had

@yukimori I figured it might be. Sounds like a dangerous thing to allow.

They have a Facebook page that was still up this morning when I checked. They all have twitter accounts but Arvind doesn't tweet. The rest do - Kevin, Bear, Tyler, Mike, Jason...

It's actually a violation of the myLot TOS to give out email addresses.

If it couldn't be delivered, it would have bounced back pretty much immediately. I'm honestly stumped over how little these guys think about the sort of impact the B-site fiasco is going to have on their futures. That's damn sure not something I'd like to have linked to my name in a professional context...

I wonder if they signed the email Moe, so now they delete all the incoming emails to Moe without even taking care to read them.

I deleted all Moe's email. They don't owe me money either but I do hope you who are owed will get some money but If I were you, I wouldn't hold my breath. They are losers, good riddance but sorry so many of you never got paid. My last money was in January and when I was checking to make sure my pay pal was working (for this site) I realized I never spent that money from back then - a bonus!

I wonder if I will ever be able to just forget I had money in an account for 11 months? I don't think so, the wolves at the door would remind me.

@Rollo1 My sister reserved our site for next years camping, I owe her half so I will send it to her when i get enough... Don't know why I forgot it there, maybe because it was going to her and not into my pocket..

It's a sad day for a lot of people. I hadn't been on the site in a week I think. There just wasn't any traffic and what there was, was hours old.

Before I switch over to this site I had $19 unfortunately I was not able to cash out because it was below $50 which I thought was dumb, at that rate it was going to take me forever to get to 50 and I was also very active on that site too. I never understood how people were getting$100 or more on there.

No one was getting $100 there for more than a year. They used to pay a penny for every like, view and comment. That was when they were handing out money big time. Since January, no one has been able to make much, but I did manage to cash out in June from January. I worked hard for that.

@Castlerock34 I redeemed in June and was never paid and I had about $20 in th bank since. Won't ever see a penny of it.

@Rollo1 so even though people had money they wouldn't pay it out?

I think they really should pay people what they were owed people were loayal to them for years and took a big risk joining at the start spending a lot of time before getting paid. I used to rave about how good they are it would be sad if they ended without honouring the payments x

For every payment made, there are several members who never got paid. They never paid everyone. They did pay some, so that there would always be members who reported that they were paid. The site never took off and made money as they'd hoped.

I don't think they are planning on paying anyone and I wouldn't be surprised if they just stop checking their emails.
