How do you motivate yourself to work? / myLot

I think it's safe to say that a lot of people who are on here are freelancers of some sort. I know many people on here who are writers and I know a lot of people on here who are photographers. The question is how do you motivate yourself to work? When you're a freelancer you can pretty much set your own schedule. This is can be a good thing for many but also a bad thing for those who tend to procrastinate. I motivate myself by setting goals. I reward myself when I reach these goals. What do you do to motivate yourself to work?

I'm neither.. I'm just here for some socialization and some money. It's not too hard to motivate myself. I check in when I have time and leave a few comments or whatever. But I have a regular full time job... getting motivated to wake up and go to work is a hassle, but the whole not wanting to lose my job is enough motiviation to get me there everyday.

I can see that being a real motivation. I'm always motivated to work when I need money.

Setting goals is a good way of doing it. For me, it will usually help. Some days it's easier said than done, but like I said, goals usually helps.

For me as a self employed free lancer with multiple streams of income I never needed motivation to work it was and is something very colorful that I enjoy doing. I like to do a little something everyday and have for about 30 years now. Way more rewarding than a job where there is no teamwork and people that slack off because they don't think they're getting paid enough to do their so called job.

My bills motivate me. If it wasn't for hem, I'd throw deerskin on and head to the woods for a simpler life, (for once).

hey, glad that i found you! sry i'm going a bit off topic. I am a college student. And I am preety well with photography. Sometimes I do some writing work. Can you please suggest me how can i earn some profit from these two. Ya I know about blogging and stuff, but how to get started and gain followers enough!
