Men and video games

Is your husband, fiancé, boyfriend always playing video games? How does this affect you? Do you mind? Does it bother you? Do you find it childish past a certain age? Anybody out there with women in their lives who can't live without their video games? How does this impact you? I'm curious. My husband plays NBA 2k all the time. Sometimes it bothers me, sometimes it doesn't. I guess it depends on when he tries to play it, how long he plays for and how many times a day he plays. I just don't get it though. He's one of those men that need the game as soon as it's released. For the most part he doesn't let the game get in the way of time with his family but it's still bugs me when the first thing he wants to do with his free time is okay that damn game. He even takes it on vacation with him. Am I over reacting?

I think men are more likely to get obsessive over games, but women do too. Games should be fun, and a hobby, but not a lifestyle.

We don't have one at home, so fortunately I don't have to deal with that issue. I can understand your frustration though. I don't know too many people that would take video games with them on a vacation.

I own a lot of video games, but I use them sparingly. There should be consideration on how much a person uses them.
