Good Morning from sunny and chilly Garden Grove

Hi Good morning its chilly here but the sun is out as usual. I asked for a sp ace heater but have not got it yet. Just got back from breakfast pancake scrambled eggs, sausage and Oj plu my two cups of really good coffee. Pretty nice breakfast really. Sort of nice of the new owners to make much better meals now if they just did not go for super sugary desserts lol.Oha the life of a diabetic is not bad anymore specially if you really do keep tabs daily on your blood sugar.Since i lost 25 punds its been so much easier for me to contol my blood sugar readings.Im finding to my amazement my tops are now too big for me. such a great feeling finding clothes are too big and my skirts waists are now too loose on me.So though I'm cold Im a happy camper

I'm sorry you are cold Patsie, thopugh I've an idea Californian 'cold' is probably not what a lot of us regard as cold. I'm glad that the food has improved.

hi@JaboUk when i was on my own doing my own cooking I nevedr thought a lot oabout food like now b ut when You are cooked for it seems like what we are eating is so m uch more im portant lol. yes our fiftys probably sound warm to ot her b ut ]we have had some weeird lows all the way do wn to 34 degrees F almost freeikng and those mo rnings are what maked this roomn so chilly no insulation and no cerntral heating here either.

@jaboUK its warmed up to 75 and very sunny out now a pretty day I should go for a walk b ut I really want to m yloot instead loll.wo uld l ike to make 2 0 dollars this mo nth lol.

I wish they would not leave you in the cold like that it is terrible Sweetie please tell them to hurry up with that heater it is awful that they do not get you it straight away

@Hatley It has got colder here to now and I am pretty sick with my Lungs at the moment but I am warm which is what I wish you where as well My Son just dropped some shopping of me as I can't go out Please look after yourself there

I hope so too Gabs, but at least it seems a bit warmer here tod a y and the sun is shining too, How are you all do ing there now across the big pond. I have al;ways wished I coud get enou gh money togetther to visist England and the Briltish iusles sp ecailly ireland as thats where m y dad's side of the f amilyt tree are from.

Glad you are losing weight but don't lose too much. Always means you can go clothes shopping i love doing that. Sounds like a great breakfast indeed.

It is great that the food is now served better. I worry about the cold and you not getting the space heater. I wish they do something on this soon. Here is a warm hug from me maybe good enough for a while to keep you warm if not any longer
