Why does spam exist? / myLot

I mean really, do you ever hear anyone talking about the good coming from spam? Why do I have so many spam emails every single day in my email inbox? Why do people actually spend energy creating such things? The same with the scam people. I will never understand why the people who try to scam spend so much of the energy doing so. Do you get spam emails?

I guess it's because they only need one or two people to believe and fall for the scam and they have made money.

I believe that I get something like 30 or 40 spam emails a day over two accounts. I never or rarely see them, however, because spam filters are now so good that they catch 99% of all spam emails and send them to my spam folder. They certainly don't appear in my Inbox!
