I would recommend borrowing audiobooks in English from the library, that way you can hear someone read to you so you can hear how words are pronounced in English.

Actually today there are more chances to learn English. You can find foreign friends to communicate in English. You can also have some online courses. Even you can watch English TV series and movies. As time goes by, be sure you will make a progress in your English.

You should find some people who can speak English and talk to them. That's the best way to learn a language. It'll be easier and faster than studying from a textbook. Offer Chinese lessons in exchange. I'm sure tons of people will help you out.

hi there, I am Anh Phan, a language lover. I think the best way to learn English is to communicate. I have been spending time to communicate with people around the world in both of my 2 languages: english and chinese. Though i am a vietnamese in origin. hehe. nothing can stop you if you truly want to learn, let's communicate!

You have been given some excellent ideas. On this site we are not supposed to correct you, but you can ask for help with phrases and we can help. We are not supposed to do anything to make our non English speaking members feel badly.I know that what the others say is also true.You need to hear the language spoken.
