It's Cold in Kentucky

I live in Kentucky (USA) and it is so cold today! I think that is the coldest that it has been so far this year.
Weather forecasts say that this will be the most frigid winter that we have seen in years! I talked to my sister and she said she saw snow on her way home from work this morning! I am really not ready for snow!
I am glad, though, that I live in a place where we get to experience four true seasons! Fall is my favorite, but seems as if it has been cut short this year!

Our high for today was 36, and they say it will be around 21 tonight! I am not ready for this change!

We only get three down here, summer, winter and seesaw .... we're in our second seesaw season right now, we might get some really cold nights and really warm days then smack dab in the middle of those is a really frigid day, hopefully we won't get one too soon, I like it hot so anything below 50 makes me shiver.

Yeah, even for our area it seems to have gotten cooler than usual @Ponder243 but we should be back in the 70s these next few days, whew .... I don't think I could handle 38, burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I feel like we jumped from summer straight into winter here! We have only gotten as high as 38 the last two days, usually we don't have this kind of weather until mid December.

A friend who lives just up in Ohio mentioned they'd had a dusting of snow overnight and woke up to temps in the twenties. Here in NC we were in the fifties but have dropped to the forties since noon and it's been raining since midnight. According to the long range forecast, we are supposed to have a very snowy winter.

I plan on traveling up to Ohio on Tuesday, so I hope the snow holds off!

It got cold here this weekend too. Then for thanksgiving supposed to be back in the 50's. We have had no signs of snow yet but hopefully we will have some by christmas atleast.

I lived in Kentucky for a couple years to go to school. Those of us not from around there and not used to the weather, referred to it as "Hell frozen over". I miss the snow though. We don't get enough of it in Georgia.
