I'm so guilty I failed my no-carb diet last month. I can say even without weighing in the scale that I gained weight. Now I came across this General Motor's (GM) diet plan and this really caught my attention. It promises RAPID weight loss, which I need right now. It's done in 7 days. Here's how it looks like: 1st day: all-fruit diet except banana w/ 8 glasses of water 2nd day: all-veggie diet, baked potato allowed once in the day, 8 glasses of water 3rd day: combination of fruits and veggies (except for bananas and potatoes), 8 glasses of water 4th day: 8 bananas and 3 glasses of milk (not sure with how many glasses of water) maybe a gallon too? they also have that Wonder Soup which I will be researching later on. 5th day: protein (beef) and 6 tomatoes, increased water supply by one quart. This is to help your body cleanse itself of uric acid out of digesting the beef. 6th day: Beef again, replace the tomatoes with other veggies 7th day: brown rice, fruit juice, veggies Several articles on the Internet claim that this is General Motor's diet plan for their employees during the 80's. Although this might not be true, this diet is popular among many dieters today. I am wondering if I can achieve this.

you can also bring down your weight by eating normal way but have to keep some limitation.like you have to drink at least water as 1 ltr for per 20 kg.you can take light breakfast in morning and in lunch you have to start with salad and then some protein food like dal and roti. then don't drink water till not pass hour after lunch and dinner.keep away from junk foods and most bakery item, mostly maida item because it come out from body at 21 days.so try to eat wheat item, its good and its daily come out from body and not make fat.while sleep in night and early morning take 1 glass of hot water.do some times 30 mins walk.i do all this thing and reduce my weight 14 kg in 3 month.

I can find no evidence at all that General Motors was in any way associated with this diet. It's probably an urban myth started by someone wanting to jump on the back of a big name at a time when the name might have been in the news. The diet carries some warnings because of its "detox" nature and, perhaps because it is short and concentrated. Because you aren't eating any protein during the first few days, you may experience some muscle weakness. Even though there are no exercise recommendations in the diet, some mild exercise during the first few days will help keep your muscles up to scratch. Other side-effects many people experience are headaches and thirst (dehydration). It is important to drink plenty of water (more than the recommended amount, if necessary). There is also a danger that, because the diet is only a week long, your weight may return if you are not careful to restrict your diet when you return to normal. The diet claims possible quite significant weight losses and you should always be wary of losing weight quickly. If in doubt, it is always wise to discuss the diet with a doctor before you embark on it.

That sounds like a great diet program. Just don't force yourself too much, and don't be to ambitious in losing weight fast.

That's right. I'm thinking if I can do this diet program consistently.
