As you know I did not get to celebrate the day with my parents and sister like I usually do because we are nine hours away from them. However, we had a good day with some good friends and her family. It was very different than what I'm used to, very Southern cooking but it was a good day anyway.
I'm glad we had somewhere to go and a family to celebrate with. I pray everyone had family or friends to spend the day with.
So much to be grateful for this year! I hope you all had a wonderful day.

@Juliaacv Yeah i tried to make the best of it. I'm feeling a little home sick. We won't be able to visit for Christmas since we don't have the money for that. =(

@LovingMyBabies You continue to make the best of it, and you know what, one day you will look back and remember this as the best time of your life. I'm speaking from experience here so trust me.
