I wrote a post about birthday gift that I got from a sweet girl a month ago Well Last night, she was Physical and Emotional abuse by her boyfriend. I have tried telling her When abuse happens once - it will happen again and again etc, and so has her mom. Her one and only replied is “I love him, and I know he loves me. It is his drinking that makes him out control!” I fear for her and she does realize that she is putting her little one in danger, as well. I know She is in denial. Therefore, I really don’t know what to do to help her. Have a wonderful day

I am sorry to hear this terrible thing happening to your friend. I hope that she will get away..yes if it happens once it will happen again.

AA groups are fantastic. I am sure you know about New Hope. If the gal won't hear you, well, I hate it but there is nothing much to be done.

I would tell her that real love is not painful and then give her the night of a safe place for her and her child to go as t here are battered womejn shelters, make her undestand that allowing hiom to batter her endangers her child and childrens protective services could take her chilod away from her as she is abusing her child by allowing her boyfriends to hit them as he could well hit the child too if she has a lickof comon sense left she will protect her child.
