A Girl Just Got What She Wished For Christmas

I know the mall manager will be more distraught if he were to buy the gift I talked about in .
So , I volunteered to just buy the backpack and have it wrapped for him .
And last Sunday , even if it was rainy after lunch , I went to the mall because I also have to buy some things .
I first bought the backpack my boss will be giving the gift wisher and had it wrapped beautifully . Then , I called the driver at the office and have it placed at my boss’ table .
And today , he was so happy to see the beautifully wrapped gift . I also showed him the picture of the backpack so he can see how beautiful it is .
Now it’s his turn to make the dedication on the greeting card .
I am happy too because i am a part of making the student's wish come true this Christmas .
When I came back to the room after our meeting yesterday , I saw a short brown plastic envelope at the table of my boss . I read the top letter and it was...

@SIMPLYD That's weird. Do you see "Clear Image" button? Could it be the system thought you have added the image. If you do see the Clear Image button, perhaps you can try clearing it, and adding it back again.
Or, report this bug to the staff.

ohh! That is sweet. at least your choice is approved by your boss, and knowing your eye for style, I believe the backpack is good for the receiver of the gift.

@ridingbet Yes, this one is so nice for you too . It's a bit of a lady like color yet a bit manly because of the nature of it being a backpack.
Grabe , you bring a lot of things with you go on duty . Well, my daughter said she also brings her backpack when she goes on duty .

@SIMPLYD wow, I can use that kind of back pack when I go for my duty. I take 3 bags when I go on duty; one the big shoulder bag, another one like an attache case, and a small paper bag for my cap.

This was very nice for you to do. I love when kid's are excited about learning and all they want is new school supplies or books to read and learn from. I wish everyone had a passion for learning and books like I do.

Actually, this was the gift of. my male boss to one of those indigent students who asked for ag bag trough a social work organzation.
though , i wasn' t the real giver , i am happy because i was the one who chose this bags amongst many bags at the mall .
I know the recipient will be very appy that she got what sh wished for .

Actually , we cannot see the said student receive her gift because it will be picked up by the social worker at the Daughters of Charity and maybe they will give it on their party .
But that's okay , what is important is our boss gave that gift in his personal capacity .

Yes and they are from poor families . Their wishes are a bit expensive things but they are affordable for those high salaried people like my boss.

Let me tell you a secret my friend . My boss is a very kind man . But he is a miser .
He didn't even give a simple "pancit" on his birthday , when almost every month , he joins a simple pa "pancit" by employees having their birthdays but it seems he wasn't brought up to spend on those .
I think he is westernized on this aspect .

Thank you . I have to volunteer because my boss said he will be very busy on weekend and would be going to Manila for a conference , so i volunteered to shop for him because anyway , i will be going to the mall to buy things also

He is a very busy man because reports are being asked of him these days and will be going to Manila for strategic planning , so he gave me the right to choose. And since i know that he is busy and i love shopping , i volunteered for him .
