Lunch Was Fantastic Wow!!

Chili and corn bread, vegetable soup,peas, and cookies for dessert. this new owner take over is really changing our lives. We have a basket of fresh fruit like bananas,oranges and apples for snacks and Rit crackers for snacks in our activity room. Now they put out two big boxes of Christmas ornaments and asked us to pick what we wanted to decorate our rooms. These changes are all new to us but for me they are delightful.It is slowing warming up but i doubt if it will be very warm but as usual the sun is shining.

it's wonderful that the new owner is making things more festive and you have some ornaments to make your room more festive. Also your lunch sounds really good

yes lunch was really so good.Its nice not tohave to order s a d wich because the other entrees are nasty tasting. It such a relief to me.

I loved reading this change happening for good at your place. I liked this more - they have allowed you to pick up the stuff that they have, to decorate your rooms for Christmas. This is wonderful as Christmas is about decorations and looking good. What did my dear lady pick for her room?

@Hatley A Christmas tree. I have plans to do one here at my place too, though I am not a Christian. I was on a discussion today that was a kind of Do It Yourself tutorial and I feel like I should try doing one instead of buying the entire thing.

That sounds like a wonderful lunch! It's nice when you can choose your own decorations, too. Little things can make a big difference to making you feel more at home.

It was really so good and you reallyshould try corn bread most people do like it the chile was very good Ive alwa ys liked chili and corn breadl.cookies for desert.
