Too much personal information.

I just read some posts on facebook and on here that I would never have shared. Would you tell anyone if your baby's father is on drugs and he cheated on you with another woman? Then, someone else was complaining about their wife in bed. Why? Are you advertising for a new wife? These people aren't real life friends. I don't know them personally. I'm not even acquainted with them. I guess it is a good place to vent and tell your personal problems if you want advice.

Yes, you are right. This is is the best place for sharing everything, included personal problem as long as it is obey on the rules. We are family here, and we respect each other, so it does not matter we express our feeling here and get some suggestions from other members, I think... I love mylot so much...

I could see if you need help. or even moral support as you admit the problem to yourself.I just think there comes a time when you act on decisions and not talk about the problem.

@srisahara It's true that on these sites we don't know you and we won't judge you. Your family and friends may not come up with the same ideas as your mylot family because they may try to tell you what you want to hear or what they want you to do, maybe not in your best interest but theirs.

@mommaj Yes, you are right, I should consider the consequence of my decision talk my personal problem here. Personally, I prefer share here than to my relatives or my real friends or neighbor. I know here, my friends will give me a good response.

Well, I wouldn't do it on Facebook, but I might do it on here. We have some anonymity on here, so it is easier to vent and not have everybody know your business here. On Facebook, though, that is an entirely different story.

I agree about the anonymity here. Some of the stuff that was said was like soap opera stories. I just can't imagine anyone living their life that way or wanting to live that way. Then, to announce it to the world is awful.

@purplealabaster My ex calls me a snob. I distance myself from those people just so I don't get pulled into the drama.

My goodness! I wonder what kind of stupidity is that! The information posted online live forever. It gets circulated, and years later, the words will return to haunt the writer. I sure am glad that you have more senses than them.

I don't understand why they would do it because some employers in America look at that stuff before they hire you. Besides, would you really want everyone to know stuff like that happens in your life. I could write a soap opera, but I don't want the world to know everything that happens in my life. I am glad I live in a cave so no one can read my wall.

I absolutely agree with you on this score @mommaj Why would anyone want to "wash their dirty linen in public?"

That is what I wonder. I guess I am more private. It's not like anyone is really going to care what went on in your life on the computer. They will all forget tomorrow and you will have to live with wondering who saw what you wrote. Potential employer, potential boyfriend/girlfriend, your children, everyone could see it.
