Thanks goodness I have the type of personality that droves me to be prepared early. If I didn't, I would still be trying to get together all of my gifts while I am feeling no so perky.
I have all of my gifts in a jar recipes put together and my cross stitched ornament attached to them. Now all I have to do is wrap them.
I make a different personalized ornament for each person to go along with each different personalized gift in a jar.
For instance: for my mother, because she likes bean soup so much I placed all of the ingredients for soup in a jar and decorated it with a snowman print card for recipe, material for the top, and gift card. I also attached a snowman ornament with a saying cross stitched on it and tied a pair of fancy soup spoons on it.
I just love homemade gifts.

@Marilynda1225 I think I appreciate homemade gifts so much because I know the work that goes into them.

Homemade Christmas gifts are special. I have received a gift in a jar once and it was such a nice and meaningful gift.
