Huger Pains Mean Time For Breakfast

I don't like to eat my breakfast that early usually but this morning I have strong hunger pains so I have no choice. I have already done my coffee for the day, now it's time for some solid food. I think I will have toasts, eggs scrambled with a bit of cheese and red grapes. Yes, that sounds good enough for me right now. And not too much work to get it ready. See you later!

I have to be up at least 3 hours before I can eat. I have always been like that and when I was a kid it made it hard when I had to eat and then go to school.

I think early morning hunger should be overcome through healthy breakfast and you did perfectly right.

Eggs are great when you feel hungry in the morning. I wonder why we had this good breakfast when we traveled to North America and I never make an American breakfast at home.

Maybe it is because you are too set in your European way?

@marlina I am pretty sure that this is true, when back home, we follow the European habits. I should at least make an exception on Sundays, a sort of brunch.

@marlina Well, I like to go eat light in the morning. I do cereal and Pop-Tarts and toast too for breakfast. I know I should eat more, if I can help it.

For me, getting the eggs done is a challenge in the morning. Most of the time, I am just semi-awake, and not in good mood, so I do not like to handle the cooking. My breakfast is often coffee, and bread, or cookies.

I was doing great this morning, I ate a piece of toast with some amazing homemade jam on it, and had a cup of coffee. On the way to taking the kids to school, I stopped at McDonalds to get my daughter a southern style chicken biscuit, and I was able to resist getting anything for myself. But now, sitting back at home, my stomach is growling like crazy! I guess the toast and coffee just wasn't enough to hold me over!

I usually start my day with coffee and never eat breakfast until later in the morning. I hate those mornings when I wake up hungry and am not ready to eat

I had coffee and 1 1/2 slices of toast. Now I'm hungry reading this.
