I am wondering here why when I click on "most recent" sometimes I see the same post more than once? Is there a mistake somewhere? I find it very annoying to see the same title a few posts down the line. Anyone else upset about that? I admit that it is not much to get upset about but it is one of my pet peeves.

Yes it is annoying because it pushes other posts farther down the list.

So I am glad that I am not the only one being annoyed by it.

I don't look at the new ones that way to notice it overmuch. I've not been annoyed with it just yet and will try not to be since I know it's a problem.

I hadn't noticed that. If it happened, I'd probably just move on to one I hadn't read. When I got to most recent, I usually read four or five and then move on.

This is called paging or page breaks. There is so many posts that open on a page. When you reach the bottom of the page to go to the second page the screen will move back to the top and display the first posts again and you need to scroll past them to see the second page open. It is a scrolling and page problem on the site. Yes it is annoying and I am not sure it can be fixed or not.

The majority of times this is just a duplicated display showing up, but at times people have inadvertently submitted the discussion twice. A good guideline is the number of comments displayed below, which is the same if the discussion has only been posted once.

It's the same here on 'explore'. Probably because there are only so many posts on display. But, it's good in a way, because, if you missed something along the way that may have caught your interest, you can get to it without going all the way back to the beginning.

Yes, I also see the same discussion repeated and it's pretty annoying. It is surely a glitch.

I was wondering the same thing. I just chalked it up to a glitch in the system

I have noticed it as well. I just thought it was because there were no more recent posts so they show the same ones again.

You should make a advise to the Admin. Actually this website has some shortcomings in details. I think it will be better and better.

It could be because someone else shared the post or suggested it. I'm not sure why else it would come up twice.
