It doesn't feel like Christmas this year

Does anyone else feel like it isn't Christmas? I don't know if it's the fact my area has super warm weather at the moment, or because my family have put up less lights and decorations than normal, but I definitely am not in the Christmas spirit this year! Hopefully by tomorrow night when the kids have gone to bed and the presents are laid out it'll be better, but it sucks to not be feeling it right now.

It is not the same here this year either. It is too warm and there is no snow ion the mountains and there are so many negatives in the news that it feels wrong.

I agree with the part about the news too! It's a shame how many tragedies there have been lately, some families really never will feel like it's Christmas again.

What makes it difficult for me is the warm weather and the absence of snow. It's so strange not to see snow on the ground.

If you think of the people in Australia and New Zealand, you can see that not all parts of the world are cold now. They are having summers when you have in winters. Yet they are still celebrating Christmas.

Nope, I'm not feeling the holiday either. It is too hot and sweaty. There is no Christmas Cheer. I'm excited for my son, who is so eager for Christmas. I hope I'll be able to enjoy the big day through him, but otherwise Its just like any other day of the year.

The warm weather is not making it feel like Christmas time but we have been so Blessed lately so we are definitely feeling the spirit of Christmas this year. =) I cannot wait to see my children's happy faces and to read them the story of the true meaning of the day.

were just doing it for the children, other wise we would be just displaying lights and trees and then removed them after new year. my nephews and nieces are young and they need this christmas for their own enjoyment.
