Frankly we had enough

Frankly we had enough Frank go and play in anyone country because frankly we’ve had enough of wind, rain and flooding. Strom Frank is meant to hit the UK or maybe it has already. The weather here was nice for a chance but it soon changed this evening with strong winds and more rain. Wales and northern England was worse as if they haven’t ready had enough flooding. The north of the country is taking a battering this winter. I will be glad when it’s all over. See enclosed link about the UK weather/flooding and storm Frank
A fresh storm threatens to bring more flooding misery to parts of the UK, while a stone bridge collapses in the flood-affected Yorkshire town of Tadcaster.

That sucks about flooding and rain. I don't know how you put up with so much of it

I have no idea either myself it's just been so wet here. I need sunshine for the next 6 months a least to make up for it all.

@T_gray Good question and that hard to answer. Sometime we can have a nice spring and sometime not. If we have a nice spring, then summer will be horrible. If spring is crap then we could be in for a good summer. It's not often we get the both season, spring and summer good together.

I'm blaming Storm Frank for the 1 1/2 hour power cut we just had. Annoying, but obviously not a major issue, especially when you consider all the poor people in Yorkshire and Cumbria that have already been so badly hit by flooding recently.

@kevin1877uk The power cut was more an annoyance than anything else. Thankfully there was nothing we really needed power for at that time (though lighting would have been nice. lol) But, you do wonder what devastating reports there will be in the news in the morning because of this storm. It really is awful when you see how bad the storms recently have been for some people.

Bad weather everywhere today. Time to batten down the hatches and hibernate for the rest of the season.

It does seem a little damp up here now that you mention it Kevin. Of course we are so accustomed to heavy rains that nobody really noticed until we saw it on the news.

Oh I forgot you have a cloud over your house and it's always raining, I'm surprised you are not flooded by now with all that rain.

It's been nice in the Eastern Angles today. A little blustery for a short time earlier, but no rain and lovely mild temperatures. It seems mean that northern parts of the UK are having more than their fair share of cruel and nasty weather.

They are indeed, it was nice here today for a chance until this evening when the wind got up and the rain moved in. I don't think it's stopped raining since. I believe another 24 hours of rain is forecast for plymouth. i'm glad you had a nice day. the temperature been really mild for this time of year, 14C here in Plymouth this afternoon.

I remember, we had also the same name of such storm in the Philippines. It was so devastating. It took the lives of hundreds of people and destroyed a vast land over the provinces and cities. It brought flood for several days in low-lying areas and left millions of home lonely (destroyed, no electricity, many deaths of relatives). It is one of the most devastating supertyphoon that ever hit the Philippines
