There is Always The Clean Up

Another year of the ball falling at midnight in Times Square. Over a million people pack the square, some coming as early as morning of the 31st. Over 2,000 pounds(one ton) of confetti all over the area. Did you know that in 2014 it took 178 people to clean up 52,3 tons of trash? It also took 38 leaf blowers, 25 trucks and 6 mechanical brooms. Not sure how much it took this year.

It's amazing how seemingly normal, clean people can be so filthy.

I suppose stuff like that helps keep people in jobs, I would freak out in a crowd that big.

Sometimes I don't know if it's good or bad for celebration. It does create a lot of jobs and opportunities for many people, and of course many people are having fun as well, but it has created so much rubbish and wasted so much resources on the earth.

I guess the people leave a lot of trash behind when they celebrate the new year.
