Progress Report

I just thought I'd let you know how things are progressing. I got my laundry done today, some dishes, got the notifications done one time through and working on the second batch now. I played a game that almost killed the laptop. You would have known, I wouldn't have been able to get back on. I really thought it was dead there for about an hour, then the little blue circle kicked in and everything came back up. Whew! I have a week and a half to go before my new tower. I don't need to lose the laptop at this point in the game. So while I was letting the laptop have time out, I got dishes done, then came back here and worked for a little longer once everything was up and running. Then for the best progress report - I did my walking on the treadmill. I think I went over five minutes because I was also watching the clock, but I did something to the settings and never saw the timer come up. I can tell you going over five minutes really did me in. Not my knees or my leg, but I was really hacking away and wheezing. So I'm going to stick as close to five minutes as I can until that stops. The good news is that I walked. I also got a lot of other stuff done too. How was your day? I pick my son up from work in an hour, and then it's off to bed for me. Thanks for reading.

@Jessicalynnt That is a little more difficult unless I turn my radio on.

I'm very happy with my progress. I'll be getting on the treadmill in a couple hours. I like later at night because no one is around, so I'm not bothering anyone with the noise of the treadmill, and no one is watching me.

Perhaps you need a better timer for the sake of those knees, but well done for getting on the treadmill. I have often wished for one of those as I have to drive to the track where I am trying to build up some stamina again. I went round the outside lane three times today which works out as twenty minutes at my slow pace, but like you I have to persevere.

Well done. It sounds like you're doing well on the track. My sister gave me her treadmill several months ago. She has an elliptical so didn't need it. My intent is to get my knees working well and lose weight. I worried about my leg that was broken, but it's doing well with it.

Sounds like a very busy day. I cleaned my whole room, washed my blankets, made my bed, did the dishes and then relaxed the rest of the evening. Today is Sunday so it's my lazy day

You had a busy day. My only goal today, now that I'm home from church, is watching the Packers/Redskins game this afternoon.

Saturday here now too. 1 AM. I'll be going to bed soon. It's nice to just lounge around.

Reading about so many posts about walking and exercise I decided to get a pedometer and keep track of my steps. I need to get up and move more so this will give me an incentive to increase my steps each day. Sounds like you're doing pretty good on the treadmill

I've started at least and will hopefully work my way up to some decent times, but for the moment I'm starting out slow and only five minutes.

That's great that you got so much done. Best to go easy on the treadmill and build up slowly.

Only doing five minutes on the treadmill at the lower speed. Not the lowest because that was too slow, but a couple notches higher worked out well.
