Hi, First of all - Happy New Year - 2016 to all of you. May this year feel your life with happiness and prosperity Hope everyone is doing great, I know my absence might kept you thinking what's wrong with me. Here is brief - My mom's was hospitalized and was in ICU for 2 days - She is fine now. Those 8 puppies - I couldn't save 7 - may be something went wrong with my care which made them die one by one. One is okayish for now. It's been a news-rumour-something around my countrymen, that foreign country people don't think much of savings. A friend of mine said - "They don't think of investing money in buying houses and property for betterment of their lives". "They mostly have savings for short term things which last long for 15 days to 30 days and once it is finished they start looking for new job" he added. I don't know if he is correct with his statement, but I have one friend - whom I call my mom, And she is jobless for past 7 (I know her since 2008-09) years and living in from her savings only. So I didn't said anything to him! As I know my talking is not going to convince him. So I said let it be, but felt like it's wrong. I know Indians got some popular tendencies - It's a habit of person to considering others to be most happiest person and try to show their lifestyle to be better then others. Whatever reason that might be but I would like to hear from you, What's the situation of yours and how it actually works ? Do you save money for long term investments ? Short term happiness is given more importance ? Like one will do job for 10 days seeing he has enough for next 15 days he leave the job and start enjoying life ?

Happy New Year to you too! You were mentioned today and we had noticed your absence. Sorry to her that your mother was ill but I hope it is all a thing of the past. I was ot aware of anything concerning the puppies and it is sad that you now only have one. Take good care of it! Savings? What are they?

It's okay! Hmm how about that Communication thing ? I don't like to call ex so I just called husband That bring you some kind of feelings right That's normal I am still constant with 52

Jobs typically last much longer than days, they last years. Nobody I know just leaves a good job to have fun. Not when there are mouths to feed, and bills to pay. Only an irresponsible person would do something like that.

It is good to have some savings set aside. We call it an emergency fund, and is only to be touched when something unexpected comes up. Long term savings are always good, and very important
