is a black cat really bad luck

Most people say and think that if a black cat cuts your way then its bad luck is it true. I dont seem to believe it because at the end of the day its just a animal just like other cats who agrees

Hi there Yeah I've never really been superstitious but my brother has a black cat haha I just think it's whatever you believe I agree with you it's just a cat :)

True and i guess with most kids its what their families tell them they will just believe that even my family used to say black cat mean something bad will happen but as i grew i just thought its something that we imagine but its not all that true

A black cat is only bad luck to the person who believes it. A black cat, or any other cat should not affect what happens to us. That said, when I drive through town, and every traffic light is green, I think maybe, it's time to buy a lottery ticket,lol.

I would say that is a superstition, but we all believe in different things. For example, I am totally in belief that a full moon causes people to be crazy. So, that is a different superstition (but the latter one is correct, in my opinion).

i do not believe in this also. Even if it brings someone bad luck, it does not follow that everyone will get bad luck when a black cat cuts their path. I think the black cat will get bad luck if you do not see it, and step on its tail.

only if your superstitious. some cultures find white cats as a sign of bad luck. same with owls, some do and some dont.

I can't believe that this is a serious question! It doesn't matter to me what a cat looks like and if it crosses my way from right to left or left to right. I love cats and try to stroke them if they aren't to dirty.
