Random Word Post – post horse

I find a random word by flipping through my 2003 The New Webster’s Concise Dictionary and write a quick – often silly – little post about it. # “post horse – A horse kept for hire to travelers.” Is that still a thing? I’m sure in remote, rugged areas where horses are still the best mode of travel, but “civilized” areas have Uber. Is there an Uber horse? Is that what the Amish use?
