They Are Laughing When When We Are Telling Our Ultimate Dream

@shubhu3 posted a discussion about our Ultimate Goal in Life. Well, whenever someone told us to go back home and settle for good, we are answering them that we must achieve first our dream and that is t have a 40 apartments. Then that goal went up to 100 apartments. Whenever they are hearing those, most of them chuckles. Maybe 100 is a very high number to obtain. Maybe for them it is impossible. But it is our dream. There is no harm in aiming high right? We already have 12 apartments and now we are starting to build another 12 more this year. I do hope we really achieve that 100th! :) I am praying and working for that!

@wiLLmaH is your grandmother still overseeing the maintenance and collection of those apartments? were you still here when you and your husband built your 12 door apartment?

@hereandthere My grandmother passed away 2 years ago.. hehe.. Maintaining the buildings are not a problem.. hire the right people, pay them well, they will take care of your business because you are taking care of them.. :)

This is a family business from my grandmother and I saw the regular/residual income that it brings. My mom and dad gave me 4 lot for me to build our own apartments when we I got married.

It's always good to dream big! As you said, you already have 12 apartments, I am sure you will achieve your dream very soon. Moreover, since you are working hard together with your husband, I am sure you will be happy doing it together.

I think it is better to have fewer apartments that are in a best location, than to have many apartments in other locations. You can think about buying offices to rent out too. That will mean diversification for you.

We are thinking of doing some office for rent too. But one step at a time. Need to focus on this project first. :) Thanks for the mentioned idea. :)

If you will aim for it , why not ? But actually when you have at least one more in addition to your 2 12 door apartments , it will suffice for you to go back home here in the Philippines and live comfortably . But it would be nice if one of you would be a fixed income earner again when you come back here for good.

@SIMPLYD yes po.. as we calculated it, we can build a 40 door apartment to the 3 lots gave by my mom to us. Maybe after that, we will save for our dream home. Then we can go back and pursue the 41-100th apartment when we are back in the Philippines. That is our plan po as of now. The plans may change but dreams will not :)
