Gotta agree with this saying. It feels incomplete whenever a family doesn't own a dog. People say nahh it's just a dog but for some these dogs are already a part of the family. Same goes with other people who have other pets aside from dogs. I mean for real I really think they are the ones who complete the family because they are also part of the support system that people needs both emotionally and physically. They can help you stay fit by jogging with you and they can comfort you when you are lonely. And when you had a tough day at work they are the first to greet you when you get home and then you are able to forget about your problems. That's how these dogs help us. That's why we really love our dog and we are very happy to have him as a part of our family!

Yeah that's how important dog is for us dog lovers we know that they are our lives and we love them each day more and more and so that's why we take good care of them everyday.

Dog is an important member of the family they provide us emotional support that's why we cannot just say oh yeah its just a dog why bother to take care of it too much, man it's crazy, dog is family it's not "JUST A DOG". We'd love to have a dog, but unfortunately we're not allowed to have a dog in the complex where we live. I know that there are some who do have dogs, despite not being allowed, but we don't want to get a dog, the landlord find out, and be kicked out. So, as much as we'd love to have one, we don't for the moment. Maybe in the future when we have a place of our own.

I would have been lost if I didn't have my dog when I was growing up. He was my best friend and knew all my secrets.

the saying is not applicable for all. As some are allergic to animal fur or some have phobia or trauma towards dog or specific animal.
A house can be called a home if the family living inside it is living happily and loving and respecting each other.

Yeah too bad some people have allergy with dog fur but I think for dog lovers their homes are not complete without these furry animals just saying.

I find that a furry companion is the perfect combination of qualities that a best friend should have.

Yeah they are the most loyal creature ever that's why I love them. They are the only creatures I know that won't leave you no matter what. They think like little kids until all their life even when they are already old. I saw from an article that a dog's brain is equivalent to that of a 3 year old's mind and that is the peak of their brains meaning it couldn't go beyond that and that's what makes it fun to be around dogs and play with them. They don't grow up lol :) @MrEwriter
