I haven't done much today aside from catch up on notifcations, posts, and play my favorite MMO. I should care, but I don't. Honestly, hubby said he would do the majority of the chores while he is out of work (granted not on my time line, which bugs me), so not doing those. I still shampoo the carpets, which I will do later this week. He and the wet vac have never gotten along, which is both annoying and amusing. I plan on taking a shower, reading, and maybe napping in the sun. I've already done the hour or so of looking for things he can apply for, and emailed it to him, he can look or not, I feel like I am helping, and it irritates him less me doing it that way. I do wonder if military might not be one of his few options. They won't look at his last employer, and his application, which needing updated and refreshed was accepted last time. He could have gone in and signed up, his recruiter was just terrible and never told him that. I honestly like and don't like that option. I know it's messy and stressful, but there are so many perks, and the schooling money that he would come out with would be a big help if he wanted to actually go for PA or something and not owe tons and tons and tons of money. I know we might have to move around...and you know, that part never bothered me. I have no friends here, so what is there to miss?

Going into the service would be a last option if it were my husband. But to each Their own. Maybe you`ll find him a job soon.

well it's on the table, but not a focus, yet, as the days pass with nothing promising I am sure it will get looked at more deeply

Glad you decided to have a lazy day I know what you mean about no friends here, I'm the same where I'm currently am, no friends and that's hard.

@Jessicalynnt I understand. Sometimes things seem to all happen at once - but that could also work for good things... Hang in there!

me too, the searches and lack of any kind of response, the unemployment not sending money yet, it's all getting me down

@Jessicalynnt You just inspired me to do something small but important. I found the file for tomorrow's lecture. It can be stressful if I do it at the last moment.

He must be under the age limit for that to be an option. It's something to consider.

@Jessicalynnt I think 30 is the limit, so he's good if he wants to go in the military.

I know how frustrating it is to try to find work. Getting starting and motivated is tough. I never had a problem finding work almost immediately. I hope he is as lucky.

For me I would not want my husband going into the military but I know for some people it is an option. I would not be able to emotionally handle the deployments most of all. And I am so sick of moving around that I would hate that too. I hope he finds something soon-no matter what it is.

It is't for everyone. I dont care where we live. I wouldn't be happy about the deployments but I could handle them. and the moving, well, no friends here, so dont care tons, maybe I would if i had roots here

hope your husband finds work soon and the military option is not one he needs to fall back on, especially if it leads to combat or long periods of separation between you for his duties

I was hoping that by now he would have found something. Maybe you should just let him do the work and relax a bit.

hard to just let it be, when it affects us both. I just set myself limits, I can only online job search for a certain amount of time a day. I email it to him, and then that's it.
