Re: Flower Challenge (Updated w/photo)

So, I saw this challenge from @Raelove and @LadyDuck that people are doing, and thought it looked pretty cool. Plus, I have a number of flower photos. This one is from when I went to the tulip fields in LaConner, WA. It was a different time of year, but it's nice to revisit the memory now and again. I also found flowers while there that reflected the themes/imagery of certain tarot cards, e.g. A spikey, red tulip as The Devil or a little blue flower tucked away that reminded me of The High Priestess. I took pictures of the flowers with my cards, and used them to design the banner for my website. I like how we can find a symbology reflected in things around us.

Let me join this challenge started by @Raelove Gardening is my passion and I am at a loss to see which flower would get prominence. I have chosen the garlic...

I saw your image. Truly out of this world. I thought Tulips did well only in Amsterdam. I had been there a long time ago but missed the season just by 15 days.

Thank you! Your flower choice is great. I'll maybe have to upload some more pics. I have a bunch just floating around in my Drive.

@allknowing obviously we have tulips here too, although I can't really say that's what Washington state is known for. Evergreen trees, apples, Microsoft, Boeing- these things are very WA. I have seen pictures of tulips in Amsterdam. I bet they would be fantastic in person. Hopefully, we will both get the chance to see them one day. How was your trip there otherwise all those years ago?

Thank you for joining the challenge, but the photo does not show up. I think it's too big, try to resize it and then upload.

Yes, it sure is lovely. I don't think there are places exactly like this outside of LaConner in Washington State. There are some farms in LaConner that specialize in growing tulips, daffodils, and the like. I'm fairly certain there other other farms in WA growing flowers, but these are the only tulip fields here that I know of.
