I need to stop wearing ripped jeans...

United States

.. because I just realized my knees are significantly darker than the rest of my legs. I own a handful of jeans that are ripped (purchased them like that) so now the consequences. Same with thong sandals. After not interchanging different sandals, or into sneakers, I get tan lines. Do you have any tan lines from your clothes? Sunglasses? Any strange tans like me? Just my knees and toes.

I used to wear ripped jeans, but don't really now unless they rip naturally and, yes when I wear sleeveless shirts.

I don't have any jeans that rip naturally, lol. My co-workers would always make fun of me! They're like you pay money for that, I can do it for you for free! Let me wear your jeans lol. But now not so much that I'm a little older, I try to buy normal jeans now. Do you have the farmer tan line?

That is nice your feet tan seems to fade now! I need to wear jeans without holes and sneakers or covered toes until my tan fades.

I've seen those ripped jeans but never worn them so I think my legs are evenly toned... as well as my toes...

Right now in Switzerland it is impossible to tan. In summer I try to avoid tan lines using a high protection sun cream.

I should put more sun cream ~ sometimes when its gloomy I don't even bother and I guess that's when the tan starts.

@infatuatedbby Yes, sometimes you get tan even if it's gloomy.

@LadyDuck Which is probably my case since it's been gloomy lately. But on the bright side will be getting the car tinted tomorrow which hopefully will reduce all that sun light!

I'd like my tan lines to fade. It looks sort of funny right now.
