A Nice Relaxing Day

Today was one of those very unusual days when I could have slept in but Daisy had other plans and was ready to get up at 4:45am. I was so tired last night as my brother and I cleaned house yesterday from top to bottom. The house hadn't been cleaned really good since before we both came down with the flu a couple of weeks ago.
I am hoping and praying that today will be a good day for my brother. He went on an interview last week and is supposed to know something today. It's a good job that pays a lot more money and there won't be any of the drama that he has to put up with at his current job.
Since the apartment is all nice and clean from yesterday, there really won't be much I have to do today so I should have a nice, relaxing day. We even have leftovers from last night for dinner tonight so no one will have to cook. My brother made crab salad and it was so good. All together, the meal is about 300-400 calories so I am good with my diet.

Yes, crab salad is really good and my brother puts some really good spices and stuff in it. He even used low fat when he could and it still tasted really good. Daisy has fully recovered from her surgery. Her incision is almost completely healed. As for my brother, he didn't get the job as the guy had someone interview who had more experience.

Daisy is keeping you busy. I hope your brother gets the new job. Enjoy your nice relaxing day. I will be waiting for the repair man to come and fix my dryer. I have clear out my laundry room so he can get to it. I will be busy today.

Sorry to hear about your dryer. It seems like it is always something, doesn't it? Yes, Daisy keeps me busy and on my toes. She is almost 8 months old now but still has her puppy ways. Unfortunately my brother didn't get the job. The guy hired someone with more experience.

Yikes, I feel the 5:15 alarm I have set is too early. I admit since I no longer am taking classes, I like to sleep in, but I am trying to avoid it, because I can get so much done, before my son gets home from school, if I get up early.

@Carmelanirel2 I am so used to getting up early that it really doesn't bother me anymore, except on the days when I feel really tired and could sleep in. Unfortunately my brother didn't get the job, there was someone else with more experience.

Yes, the reason she gets up is to go potty so I don't get upset. When you gotta go, you gotta go...lol. The interview was for a property manager of rental houses in two subdivisions here. He didn't get the job as someone applied who had more experience.
