What a joy ride on the ocean

I guess by now a lot of you have seen the pictures of the ship that was in the middle of the ocean in that huge storm. I cannot believe that the cruise company knew the storm was brewing and still let the ship go out. We don't usually hear of many issues on the ocean but those poor people I am sure are going to tell their stories. I am going on a cruise next week but I wouldn't worry about this happening as it was very rare, I will just have to get another drink and take a nap.

I won't fly and I won't go on a cruise - I don't like someone else's decision to determine my fate.

@Hatley Oh, that would never stop me from doing anything. My motto is, "It is what it is". If it's my time to go, so be it. At least I am going to have fun right up until that moment.

It's no good letting something like that put you off. It would be like saying you'd never go in a car again if there had been an accident.

@Jabo you are right and that is the way I feel too. People see something like a plane or ship disaster and because there are so many people involved they just decide not to go anywhere.
