Do you suffer from Monday Blues?

I am doing overtime today at work so I am off to work in a few minutes, as my last post suggested I have to leave early due to the road works to avoid the traffic. I am hoping for an easy day today because I really am not motivated for work today and never seem to be on a Monday! Must be the Monday Blues!! Do you suffer from Monday blues?

I can't say I feel "suffering" on Monday, but of course I will not feel excited to it.

Yep I understand. You don't suffer the blues but don't really love Mondays either.

I do suffer from it from time to time. I think it's normal for us to suffer from it occasionally, to say the least.

Since I live alone, and am retired, none of the days seem blue to me, as when I am in here, I have the most fun ever, and I am not bored either. i enjoy this stie a lot and I want to be here as much as I can. I end up somtimes just posting and posting and forget what time it is. I love the new site as well, as it is much faster than the old one, and nicer looking too.

@gudheart It certainly does. I don't want to be anywhere else, as I have more fun in here than anywhere else.

There are days where I don't feel like turning up for work because of a lack of sleep regardless of day.

Yes, I do! I had to get up and go to work. I hate that feeling when all you want to do is sleep.

@gudheart,Thanks,my friend, you have perhaps given me an idea for a post.As a primary school student I used to hate Mondays, because my teachers were too strict and I was pitiably poor in studies. But now I love Monday.

@gudheart But mine were butchers. They should have been given the job of hangmen.Extremely strict, stone hearted and dictators.Especially the one who taught us maths.

I dont really suffer with the Monday blues as I love my job. But I would rather not have to get up to go to work ....oh to be able to spend all my time by the seaside...walking on the beach etc..... now that would make me really happy x

Sometimes I suffer from the Monday blues, but what helps me is going to bed earlier on sunday nights to make sure I am extra well rested for the morning. My husband also acts as my alarm clock, which makes it easier for me to wake up on a daily basis. Being as I always (no matter what) hit snooze.
