The first day of the love month of February brought me unwellness. I am still battling this very dry cough and occasional fever, and I got absent from work twice now. I had my consultation last Wednesday, the 10th of February, and after having done the chest X-ray, my lungs are clear, but I have a moderate cardiomegaly, or enlargement of the heart. I am also very pale, and today, I am going back to have my complete blood count checked.
We have no duty until the rest of the week, and next week, we will have duty on Monday only; it is the school’s foundation day and there will be activities as well.
I hope to be back, definitely, and share you my life, but I have to leave now because I am going for my consultation.

my kid brother has a classmate who is a cardiologist at the Philippine Heart Center. I will also be given a referral letter by my cardiologist should I decide to undergo the operation to change my mitral valves.

my taste buds are getting back on track with the continuous intake of turnips soaked in vinegar. after i and my son left the hospital this afternoon, we went to buy some yumburgers from the jolly bee; seems my taste buds like sweeter taste now.

it is always a bad side having an enlarged heart. although this is a compensatory mechanism of the heart to pump more blood, it does not go back again to its normal size once it gets enlarged. it stays there permanently now.

I had my duty last Monday and Tuesday; my learners were all considerate because they often tell me that I should not "visit" them in the wards because they are "doing their responsibilities". I am trying not to overdo now. I have to take care of my heart
