Have you ever written a letter to a national newspaper? Was it published?

Over the years I have been moderately successful in getting letters published in The Times (of London), although my "strike rate" has not been so great lately! What about you? What sort of letter might you write if you felt the urge to do so?

Up to now I've only written a letter to our local newspaper concerning a critique of a cultural event I didn't agree with. It was published.

I don't usually write to newspapers. I did write to the RAC (Royal Automobile Club) once about the state of our road and that resulted in some action.Well done for getting your letters published.

I have had a few letters printed in the Los Angeles Times usually a response to an entertainment section article.
