Full Circle

It's strange how life will circle. When I was young I love to write short stories and poetry. I have kind of stayed away from that for some time. I have been writing articles for a long time now. I do still write poetry once in a while. I have been coming up with all these ideas for short stories again. Well, maybe if they are not too long I will post them here. Funny how life comes to a full circle like that.
How you ever had something like this happen to you?

@whiteream If you do this you may well start a trend...I have a couple of short stories, but even so they seem to long to put there. Perhaps serial episodes if people did not get bored with the story line....

Well things aren't going well for me. I belong to a couple of other sites and many of the writers are complaining that they are not getting paid. I am just feed up with it. I have decided that Mylot and my blog are the only places I am going to write for anymore besides pay for places. So, I will be posting some of them here at some point.

@41CombedaleRoad why don't you post them in parts. I have couple short one that I was thinking about but some I have are over 3000 words so I don't think I ould post something that long here.

I think the problem we share here is that writing for MyL takes time and also some creative energy which might otherwise be directed elsewhere.

I bet you could if you tried. I think you would do well writing a book and home remedies or something like that.

@whiteream If you have the inclination, you can explore different genres too. It is such much fun experimenting with characters.

@Scindhia It a side of me that I am reconnecting with. When I was young I never stopped writing. All types of stuff. There is great joy in it for me.

I have always dabbled in writing years ago. I knew then I wasn't good at writing stories. But I did write lyrics mostly. I did call them poems. Which they are. But when I found the internet things changed for me. I remember when I first found MyLot many years ago, I was hooked. And I have been writing ever since. I also started writing stories when I started here years ago. This was my first site that I did any writing on.

@whiteream I will when things settle down a bit here. We just found out that we are moving to Kentucky so things will be a little crazy around here for about a month or so.

I believe so. I feel the same way with my novels. I believe my time has come to get to land an agent and pub deal this year--preferably this late spring. After many years of hard work with revisions, on and off, it's high time for it to be finished and have agents consider it for representation.

I tried many times to write novels based on true stories of mine and others well known to me. I always got the platform of the story a good one, but always messed up after writing some paragraphs and cannot ended a single story.

Thank-you so much. I very good friend of mine is trying to help me find a publisher. He read some of the stories I wrote when I was younger and enjoyed them.

I loved English as a subject and excelled in it. But never paid any heed to having an actual career in it or pursue it as a hobby in writing.... lol... Now I love writing so much...

maybe you should think about it if you love it so much. It is a passion for writing that made me what to look into being able to do it for a living.
