Swagbucks Birthday Bash Team Challenge: Don't Miss This Event!

Normally it's tough to get excited about team challenges that dole out a low reward but for the birthday bash this year you can walk away with 50SB or 100SB. What's the catch? You have to contribute at least 200 points to your team while the event is happening. With the recent drop in earning capabilities in the SBTV app, I am hoping that this event will mean a boost to what members can earn (even if it is only a limited
There are only two teams and they are having pre-registration at the moment; the actual party starts on the 25th so you do have some time to poke around the site and get your feet wet if you are new to it.
One of the more confusing things they are throwing out to members who join the event – the Birthday Bash Crazy 8 Bonuses. You are going to have to read that for yourself because I don't want to be blamed for explaining something incorrectly. If you love bonuses then you are not going to want to miss this. The Crazy 8 portion of it only runs for one day (the start of it) so check your time zone to make sure you have the start and end times for it so you don't miss out on anything.

Please remember, the points you earn for your team are different from actual Swagbucks that you earn that are deposited into your account (or are awarded when the event is over).
If you have participated in other events like this you know that there is a leaderboard; why people push themselves (and their poor electronics) to the edge of burning out just to have your avatar on a list on the sidebar is beyond me. They used to offer additional SB for those who finished in the top five but did away with it.

I already preregistered! 
If you just keep doing what you normally do, you will get over that 200 points in no time.
I haven't read all the details of this one yet - I saw that Crazy 8 thing but haven't read up on it. I'm lazy - ha ha. But I like this thing better that that SWAGO - I won't get anything with swago.
I don't know what my biggest bonus ever was . . . but I think my biggest bonuses above all would be from the completing the daily goals.

The points you earn from doing things aren't the same as Swagbucks - so you could get 25 points for doing a survey or 15 points for doing EnCrave etc. The sign up page has all the point oppertunities listed there; even though its slim pickin's you should be able to get the 200 points to qualify for the bonus with no problem

I'm on the Party Hoppers team! It freaks me out a little that this thing is only one day, because usually the challenges last a few days. The reward bonus us great, though!
