Why ARe Some Snobs Over Short Stories Here?

When a user here writes fiction he or she usually really edits it and spends time polishing it so why are people refusing to even read or like? That really hurt s the writer so maybe we should sneak a peek at the short stories and fiction., Man does not live by article alone surely. People read novels so short stories surely do demand a look and see.

I read some that people post here and poems but if I don't know what to respond back i won't i'll just like it so they know I atleast stopped by and read.

@harley I like short stories along with novels. I do read short stories. In fact sometimes you can even find a book with several short stories in it and they are really easy to read.

I think some members may not want to read some long, drawn out story. If the writer would post it in parts I think they may get more reading of them done. About three or four paragraphs is good for one part. I bet this would help them get more likes and reading of them done.

I'm not a very good "lotter" I guess, is the buzz word. I don't even like that word. Sounds like I'm in some kind of lottery or something. I like stories though but my problem is I don't seem to have time as my head is in a spin or something. If I'm in the mood however for a story will certainly read want to read one. Maybe it is just a matter of finding one when I'm in that mood. Dunno.

I haven't noticed anyone posting fictional short stories here on this site. I know I've tried posting fiction on other sites and, with the exception of stories I've put up on Hub Pages, fiction hasn't generated much interest.
