Tomorrow afternoon I'm off to Morocco for a 3 night stay in one of my favourite places - the small fishing town of Essaouira. It won't be especially hot - 15-21 C (60-70F) but it's still a lot warmer than the UK at the moment.
My sister and her girlfriend should be arriving tonight and we're on an early afternoon flight tomorrow. We should arrive at the riad by around 6 pm, just in time to get settled in and then go out for dinner.
I'm looking forward to LONG walks on the town's broad sandy beach, with our favourite beach bar at the end of each long walk.
We're back on Tuesday evening and straight back to the 'grindstone' but for just a few days I can totally switch off and take it easy.

I know how much it means to the British to find some early sunshine, so I wish you are warm sun kissed break.

How lovely that you can get away and enjoy one of your favorite places. I would give my right arm for a nice day at the beach. Even in the winter months the beach offers such joy. My preference would be to sit at the beach on a warm and sunny day.

A few days at a beach is better than 10 days in grey ugly weather.

That's looks like a great weekend getaway. Long walks with a bar at each end - what more could you wish for?
