Mermaids&Megalodon Myths or Magical?

O'Kennedy here folks how are you? Tonight we are going to discuss Myths and Magic. Mermaids are they real did they exist at some point in time. Do they still exist today?
Let's suppose that they did exist at some point. We are known to hunt things that we don't understand and fear but over all things we feel threatened by that we can't control.
Megalodon the biggest shark ever supposedly known to man. It was believed that they disappeared extinct even. However just when we think something is dead or not existent we turn up some kind of evidence proving otherwise.
Things wash up on shore that we thought didn't exist or died off. We see videos some fake but some seem very real and you get big corporations that try too shut them up and discredit them.
So do you think that they existed still do? Maybe they are just hiding found new ways to survive undetected and unbothered by us. I think we share this planet with many things we can't even fathom. What's your take on the whole thing real or fake?

I found it fascinating that almost every country in the world, from Europe to Asia have their own variation of mermaids.
Japan have this creepy legend that if you feed a person with pure heart who is not aware what they were eating a serving of mermaid's meat, that person will become an immortal.
A person who dont have a pure heart and a person who is aware they were eating mermaid meat will become a monster.

@OKennedy I remember some scientists claimed that most "mermaid sightings" were just sea cows but sea cows dont have long hair. There are also claims about the reverse mermaid. they have the head and torso of a fish and legs of a woman;

@CaptAlbertWhisker the reverse mermaid sounds creepy looking. the one i saw had no hair it had wht by our standards would be considered an ugly face lol the hands were webbed. I wish i could remember the name of the clip it was a long time ago and the only thing that made it somewhat credible was that it was caught on a ships cam. Don't quote me on this but it was recorded by the cam on a boat that was like some kind of sea patrol or something to that effect.

Sadly I think mermaids were a myth although you could wonder why more women do not have webbed feet in the UK due to the amount of rain we have!

I think mermaids are a legend that grew out of people thinking they saw something they didn't and not knowing what they did see. But sometimes it is nice to have mysterious legends and I don't think we need to try too hard to disprove them, they make life interesting.

they certainly do make life interesting. I saw this one video that made me wonder why the guy who was trying to discredit the man who made it was trying so hard to do it. What is the big deal if there are mermaids. I don't know but i still wonder about unicorns.

I have watched an Ancient Aliens episode before where they have found an evidence that mermaids truly exists. you can watched it on youtube. anyway, setting this aside, I truly believe that we are not alone in this world.There are many unexplainable things that's been happening around us that no human knowledge can find explanation up to this present day.
