How I should do it?

I'm not in favour of doing too much short, daft posts for earning money. I don't like the people here who start a discussion each minute, and they aren't really saying nothing. It's true that they are new here as me was this saturday and I posted alike things. I have so much it in mind and I try to avoid do it so I've posted more long and interesting things, that much of them took me about an hour to do it (for my English, if I could talk in Spanish, I will be able to express all I want in an interesting, well made way), and there is too little people who see it for the laziness of reading it. I supose I have to write concise posts if my English let me.

What little observations did you have about your day? What surprised or made you interested? That is how I decide what to write about. The same things I might have conversations with people over lunch about.

Yes, It's a good way. The last post I'v expressed what I think and less people have comented than in other shorter posts. It seems that no many people have read it. Thanks!

You're right. It's silly to fire off one mini post after the other. But even if you write well constructed, longer texts, people won't come to your site if you don't go to their sites first and read, like and comment on their posts. You must make yourself known to the community by interacting with other members.

@checky99 Having some kind of avatar (it doesn't really matter whether it's a photo of you or some logo or other image, though it's best not to have a photo of a person who is NOT you!) is a good idea because people tend to remember the image. It does take a little time for people to recognise and want to read what you write but you are certainly doing things the right way - and improving your English at the same time!

Thanks for the advice, I try to interact with the people. I think is just a matter of time, I'm too new for beeing known and also I think that don't having photo don't help me. The people likes to know who they are talking with. Thanks you so much!

I think even as much as you consider posting discussions, remember to also take time to respond to the other ideas put down by other mylotters. That's what interacting is all about, posting for others to read and respond and also taking time to read discussions from others. We all need one another.

Yes, you're right. An only person can't build a tower, we need each other. Thanks you so much.

There are times I can write long discussions even if English is not my first language but usually, my posts here are brief. I am also interacting back to the members that gave comments but it takes a day because I am occupied with some things.

@checky99,English is not my mother tongue either.I commit a lot of grammatical mistakes while starting a discussion.Still Mylot allows me to participate in interaction.I prefer to avoid writing long posts, because if I initiate long discussions,I would commit more mistakes. Moreover,I like initiating and read short discussions due to lack of time.

Sometimes it is hard to predict what people will respond to. I just write things I feel like talking about and make sure I get back to people who respond to me on my discussion. And most of my time is spent visiting their posts and responding to them.

The best way to not encourage people to post discussions that are meaningless is not to respond to it. But what if it is meaningless to us but the other person posted it because for him/her it is important to let people in mylot know what is happening.
