Can You Be A Dummy User On Facebook?

I've always been active in my social media accounts such as Twitter and Facebook. On Twitter, I can gain many views on my blogs and followers. On Facebook, I can communicate with my friends if I need help. I love both sites, but there are just a few people that can ruin my day when logging in. There are times I don't like to open my Facebook account because even if nonsense photos are posted every minute. We are free to upload what we want on Facebook, but we should know our limitation. Not all people are interested to updating our selfies every day. The worse is, I have many friends who keep on bragging their branded things. I never liked it. Sometimes I opt not to log in. Sometimes I am planning to block nor unfriend, but can't do it so I just deactivate to avoid their bragging posts. What about you? If you are in this situation, would you care? Would you rather be a dummy?

It is a waste of time looking at all these. i think your time will be better off learning about skills, and other useful stuff so that you can have a better life.

You can choose to unfollow them, so what they posted will not appear on your wall. Nowadays, I mainly use Facebook to join the parenting and homeschooling groups that I am interested in, as I can get many good information and support from there. A few months ago, I decided to unfollow some friends. They did not really annoy me, but some of them like to write many negative posts many times a day, and that really disturbed me from reading the important information I wanted to read on my wall. I don't want to spend too much time on Facebook scrolling to read unimportant messages, so I just unfollowed many friends. Now, my Facebook wall is quite clean and mostly with the information I want to read. If I want to check out any friend's latest status, I just go to their wall and read their posts once in a while. I think this is a better approach for me.

I first opened a Facebook account some years ago because a work colleague was retiring and spends a lot of time in Spain, so it was my way of staying in contact. A few people noticed me online and sent friend requests, which was fine at first but within 2 weeks I was inundated with requests from people that I hardly know. My response was to deactivate the account. Last year I reactivated it and removed all the friend list entirely. Since then I have accepted a few close friends and keep it to that minimum. I do not want to open the page and see cast amounts of drab posts from a myriad of people.

I am not active in these sites anymore. I don't like some posts of my friends. It seems that they are becoming boastful in nature.

I do maintain accounts on the sites you mentioned. However, I do not post anything, not even a photo. I do not allow myself to be tagged, no one can post on my wall, and my friends are hidden. I am always on invisible mode. I only use them to read and send messages from my parents and siblings. I love living a private life and I don't spend time reading my feeds. It appears like a dummy account and I enjoy maintaining it.
