I find that as I grow older, I find it difficult to multi-task. So when I am preoccupied with something, no matter how much effort I put into focusing, everything else around me becomes a stimuli. that's why I'm not very fond of talkative people - the ones who really can't shut up. They often get into my nerves. My eardrums literraly vibrate to a point that I can feel my temples throb and I become anxious and sometimes irritable. Good thing is I can still control it - probably temper.

In multitasking , we can't get a nice result for those we have multi-tasked . We can multi -task only with one major work and one so light work like listening to the music and washing dishes or washing clothes or cleaning the house .

There's this Spanish proverbs that suits what you said; it goes, he who begins too much accomplishes little. So I guess, it's true

i keep myself away from any distractions so i can focus on multitasking. even if i dont like doing it cause im a very detailed person when it comes to work but its helpful to become fast and do it all in one go.

This is a problem that I never have because nothing ever distracts me. This is due to, oh look, someone is walking past my house. Now, what was I saying?

I don't get distracted easily. For one, I was trained by my parents not to watch TV, instead I read the papers. Second, I do not use my phone except when I need to text/reply to my parents/siblings but those are scheduled since we have also have things to do. I don't explore my phone's features and have no plans to do that. Third, I sleep at least eight (8) hours a day. Fourth, I don't engage in futile talks when working. I want to accomplish tasks before the deadline set forth by the client. I follow the above-mentioned on a daily basis and it helps me a lot in my job, especially in my ability to focus on current tasks.

Wow it sounds like you have read my mind and are taking about me. I get very irritated easily when oeioke keep going on and on. Inside of work I have a great deal of patients - but by the tone my working day is over I'm tired and find myself less tolerant. I also get easily destructed from tasks of their are noises going on around me, taps dripping, clocks ticking, boilers humming - I find these things near impossible to ignore.

It definitely can be difficult. Sometimes, it does get difficult to focus on somethings for long periods. My life is just busy, so I don't think that that helps much.

I hate talkative people as well. My sister in law is one of those people. I love her, but she gets on my nerves. She is the kind that talks over you, and never notices because she will not shut up long enough.
