High blood pressure. What are some tips you can say?

Alright, I'm 21 years old, a computer scientist, and I have a higher than normal blood pressure. I didn't know until last month when I went to the dentist and I am shocked that for one so young I would already have high blood pressure. I figured that I ought to change my lifestyle a bit since I'm a night owl and I think that helps increase my blood pressure. Do you have any tips to recommend for me to be able to lower my blood pressure? Any help would be appreciated. Kudos~!

You have to go to the doctor so you can have a maintenance medicine, another don't sleep late. Also avoid eating pork, any lean meat, too salty. Always have garlic in your food, reduce your carbo. Eat celery, parsley and spinach .Lastly, you plug in mellow instrumental music by Beethoven, Mozart through a headphone always listen this to stabilize your blood pressure. Health is wealth and life is only enjoyed once.

True. We ought to take care of ourselves while we are still young or even if we are getting older. I do hope you won't be high blood for long. Kudos~!

True, I am modifying my lifestyle now and balancing everything. My latest blood pressure was 110/100 I think. The second one's unusually higher than normal. Ha ha. But i'll change my lifestyle. Thanks!

@Shavkat Well, according to the doctor - the normal diastolic pressure is about 80-89 and mine is a hundred and they said it is dangerous already.

Whatever you eat or do, no matter, i have the same problem like yours a few months ago as am a night owl too. Always stay with my pc. yes eating good vegetables or something can normal your pressure am not sure though, many people say this. But i recovered from this by sleeping 8 hours/day a full week and took morning walk 5 to 8 km per day. And about my eating, i like eating fruits, and i don't eat junk foods. That's it. My pressure went back to normal in a week. Believe it or not, Before My pressure was 150/100 and after that morning walk and proper sleep, it became 130/84.

maybe you are essentially or idiopathically hypertensive. May I suggest that you visit your doctor or the nearest rural health unit and have your BP checked every morning, and refrain from eating salty, and fatty foods. Maybe, young as you are, you might need a maintenance medication if your BP is high for several days now. Do you have a family history of hypertension? exercise also helps especially if you live a sedentary lifestyle. A friendly reminder from a health care provider.

Thank your for your reminder. I am currently changing my lifestyle since I always stay up late everyday and it's kinda hard to start sleeping early again, but I'm getting there. The doctor said I should try to alter my lifestyle first before she prescribes some medication to me. I'm gonna check on her next week. Kudos~!

@GopherDanny Good, seems whatever you are doing is helping. My friend was told by his doctor to cut back on the salt.

@1hopefulman Yes, that was the advice of my doctor as well. I hope I can keep a healthy lifestyle as I grow older as well.
