I hate doing that, but it seems I have done a lot of it lately. Just to let you know, I am probably doing it again right now. The Man is in the hospital and it is likely there will be surgery in a couple of days. It's been very hectic here and of course, my mind is not functioning the way it ought to. Going back and forth to the hospital has been my main occupation the last few days and everything around me is being neglected and falling to ruin. So, it's going to be a while before I am here often and I apologize to everyone who has left me responses that went unanswered. Please know that I have read them, since they get emailed to me. I just haven't had time to acknowledge them individually. I do appreciate them, however, and do have reactions to them which I would normally have typed out. This may be a drive-by posting as I don't know what my schedule holds for today. I apologize in advance.

I am assuming this was unplanned, and stressful, (well even planned can be stressful), hope it all goes well!

You don't have to apologize, try to take care of yourself in and amongst running up to the hospital. I hope that he's better soon and your household returns to its state of normalcy.

I hope the surgery goes well. Surgeries are always nerve racking so it's understandable.
