I went with teachers and students at the elementary school that I work at to listen to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra perform today. They were fabulous. The concert composed of famous dance compositions from around the world. The students had a great time. They enjoyed listening to the Entertainer, Blue Danube, Swan Lake, and other arrangements. I hope to go to other concerts in the future.

Sounds like an enjoyable day. We really don't have such performances locally. Our local high school however does an annual Pops concert and the students perform music that they audition for and put on quite a good show. I had hoped to go tonight to see my niece in her performance, but illness keeps me home.

My daughter has performed in a number of venues. I appreciate listening to her playing the clarinet and the piano.

@zebra2222 My eldest daughter played the clarinet and gave lessons too. She had to give it up because of rheumatoid arthritis. She can also play a number of instruments. Her major was music while in high school and college. She has an amazing voice too.
