~Caffeine Headache~

Holy cow my head feels like someone took a hammer to it today! We were running late this morning for church so I didn't make any coffee like I usually do. Then I only had my vitamin water to drink most of the day so I have had no caffeine until we got home from church. My head is pounding! Even with this headache we took the kids to the park when we got home from church. Not sure what I was thinking because that did not help my head at all. Have you ever had a caffeine headache before?

@LovingMyBabies I usually take Aleve. That tends to work well.

@LeaPea2417 and @LovingMyBabies I keep generic Excedrin, usually called Headache Medicine. It has caffeine in it. Then if I catch the headache soon enouGH I can stop it.

Yes and that is one of the reasons I do not drink anything with caffeine in it anymore. I feel a lot better without it.

@celticeagle Well no sleep and no caffeine was probably a bad combination. Lol. It is still hurting a bit but not as bad as it was earlier-thank God.

A couple of times and the only thing that really works is a Fish Oil supplement, honestly . . .

@LovingMyBabies as long as you have no fish sensitivities, not allergies those are caused usually by exposure to animal dander, plant pollen and environmental irritants, then by all means take one !

Whenever I "think" I can go without my morning coffee, my head starts booming and reminds me that I need a fix. If I am in a rush to get out the door, I usually stop to get a cup on the way to my first client. My head will split if I don't get my caffeine fix.

When I went off caffeine, cold turkey, years ago...I had a pounding migraine for three days straight. Then....it was gone and it was heaven. I've never picked it back up since, except for the occasional chocolate.

@LovingMyBabies I was addicted to Coca-Cola and drank it all day long where I worked. When I stopped I lost 13 lbs in ONE week! LOL

Too often. I've learned to grab a coffee or even a cola (which I detest) to stave off a caffeine headache.

Yes, I had those headaches before from trying to cure myself of drinking coffee. I would start having a headache at 11:00 A.M. and it lasted for 5 days until I gave up. I had a coffee and my headache went away.
