How childish and immature can they be

I was at work yesterday and these two workers were talking about another worker who left for another store. They were saying how ugly she is and her boyfriend so hot. How could she get him and what does she do to keep him?. I just cant see how people can act so childish. I was sweeping the floor and they kept asking me. I just didnt answer. I am sorry its clear these two are jealous, and have low self esteem. But the fact the manager never said anything about what they were saying either.

@T_gray But it shows what kind of person they are. This is the same girl who is trying to pawn her guinea pig off

Gossips are very common in offices. People have the habit of talking about others so as these two co-workers were doing .

Calling her names like that was pretty low. I hope the insecurities leave them.

The childish acts made them feel so insecure to your former colleague. That's the problem of some people, they cannot conceal their feelings. They are so busy scrutinizing other people.

That would be annoying to be at work and have to listen to that.

The manager clearly doesn't have good managerial skills. That should have been nipped in the bud. I have been around people that talk about other coworkers, I don't participate in such chatter. I remind them that we are all human and that the person they are speaking of doesn't deserve to be talked about behind their back. If they have issues, they should talk to them directly.

Some people are not happy unless they can make fun of others. I ignore people like that.
