Making dinner and that is just usual. But i am making something unusual...again. Not reinventing, but rather making something new. I saw a new recipe on one cooking show last Saturday, tonight, will give it a shot. The recipe is Asian inspired. With lemongrass (i asked a neighbor if i can have a stalk, lol), and chicken and tomato sauce. Sounds like odd one? Or not really? Wish me luck that it will be great dish. And i will keep on throwing salt over my shoulder. By the way, can i throw salt more than once? What are you preparing for your next meal? What will be having?

What is the name of the dish and what are the ingredients? I have so many ingredients which need cooking, I really don't know what I shall be cooking today! It could be apple crumble or it could be celery soup or it could be something quite different.

Why are you throwing salt over your shoulder? Mostly we only throw it when we spill some.

that is a yummy food, my dear. I also saw that on Rachel Ray's show about throwing a pinch of salt over her shoulder every time she adds salt in her dish; a sign to ward off bad luck, right? or for good luck too.

@Lucky15 there are many things I also got from watching reality cooking shows, my dear! you know where I got the idea of putting a container for our peelings of onions, garlic, and vegetables? from Rachel Ray too. that is why at the side of our lavatory, there is a container of the big vinegar (Datu Puti) plastic that my sister removed the top to be our temporary garbage, and every night, we throw the contents in plastic bag.
