Social Security On Its Way

In my present state of mind, looking for more jobs is not an option. I decided on finally taking an early retirement. I will still keep my PCA client only part time though. The monthly SS check will cover my mortgage, taxes and insurances. Day to day expenses still need to be earned.

I will still do PCA job part time and Ocean Spray seasonal work. I also have a pension in the future.

Probably a wise decision. Some of the financial burden has been lifted and you have a steady check you can count on.

I weighed out the pros and cons. Congress keeps changing the laws so I decided to take it now while I can still get it.

I presume SS is what we call the pension in the UK? I hope it works out for you.

At least the money comes in handy. Once your mortgage is paid off, you can stop working altogether. The money can be re-divert to pay your daily expenses.

I just bought the house. Unless I hit the lottery, the mortgage will not be paid off in my lifetime.

Good decision. At least you just have to be online more often.
