Maybe i was just exaggerating. Or over reacting. I boiled two eggs yesterday for my breakfast. Just.those usual eggs that i bought in the store. Yeah, usual. As i was eating the egg, i tastes something odd. It wasn't that the egg is not fresh but i tasted those that i think was, what they inject on the chicken. The taste is just too strong that i can even smell it, especially the yolk. Told myself that maybe i was just being sensitive or sort of, so i had the other egg for dinner. Still the same taste. Now, i will be just buying those eggs from free range chickens.

The flavour may have more to do with the diet of the chicken.

Perhaps when you have time , you tell the seller and that if ever the eggs are like that , they could be complained to the market administrator or to the Dept of Trade and Industry or any food authority .

May be something was fed to the chicken which resulted in bad taste. You could make a complaint about egg to the egg seller, even if he refuses to return the remaining eggs (provided you are left with some eggs). Secondly, you should try to buy eggs from a different store in future.

Try to buy another eggs from that store where you buy eggs that smells odd and boiled it, if it is still the same, bring that boiled eggs back to the store where you buy and make some complaints, or complaint it to DTI.

@Lucky15 Ah, maybe the meds they are injecting to the chickens were penetrated to the eggs? Ha, ha, I don't know what it made that eggs smells those meds.

@ida123 it is for the chicken to lay more eggs, and eventually gets into their system and gets into the eggs,

That is a worry isn't it? Sometimes they inject the birds or feed them anitbiotics to keep them healthy. Sometimes it pays to pay a bit extra for healthy food.

They are probably old and have been there for a while. maybe you should buy it from somewhere else? You don't want to risk a rotten egg or something. be careful with the kind of egg that you buy.

That would be enough to make me change where I buy eggs too. I try to buy free range and for some reason, I like the brown eggs.

Eww...that's yucky. Probably it's the chemicals they've used to wash and sanitize the eggs too.

Its appalling what people are selling to fellow humans for consumption just so they can make money. Just me mindful next time of where you get you supplies, especially those of the consumable variety. thanks for sharing mate.
