Good morning.A cool crisp day here in Epsom,NH Went to get an Easter Lily plant for our neighbor. Never fail never get the best one. They have so many plants to choose from and drive me bonkers. They are abused by the workers and the people. I got one and when I brought it home.Did not liked it.Mike picked out a good one for us.Oh!well this is one of my beef. The other one is below. What is your favorite soap suds and why? photo is public domaine I do not know how many times that we change detergent in our wash. Finally ended up with free and clear Tide. This was the best one yet. But still itch. Not sure the chemical in tide is causing this. What is your reaction to this. What detergent do you use and have no problem in itchiness of your clothing.

Both my husband and I have very delicate skin, most of the products itch, I use this product made in France, it's made with white soap, I like it.

In this case, you have to stop using commercial washing detergent. Just use washing soda, and add a bit of lemon juice or lime juice. The popular mix for washing soda is vinegar, but I do not like the sour taste on my clothes. I have tried using washing soda with lime juice for washing clothes and mopping the tiles.

@amadeo No need to think so hard. Washing soda is so cheap, and lemon or lime are cheap too. Just try it for once and see if it works. If you cannot get washing soda, you can use baking soda which is the weaker version of the same thing. The difference is just 1 PH difference in alkaline level.

I prefer Seventh Generation, but usually just get either All or Tide hypoallergenic kind. Skin is very sensitive for my family Fredo. Have a beautiful day. Cleaning up from the blizzard here.

I use ALL because I like the scent. But I might have to switch back to Tide once I get rid of all of the ALL. I'll have switch because of my new sheets.

Shoot, I used whatever was cheapest! Used Rinso for awhile which amused me because Rinso sponsored radio shows in the 1930s.

I use Purex Free. My husband is allergic to so many detergents and this is the only one that worked.

I use Daz for all my washing . I have tried others but always come back. It gets the stains out and makes my washing smell lovely. No itch with Daz.

I use to use Tide but Ariel works for me best. It is currently the number one detergent here. I am not sure though if it's available in the US.

I always get the free and clear type. Maybe your itching is caused by a food that you eat.
